We were cycling the east coast last summer and were exhausted and wet when we came upon your campsite. within minutes we had been swept in, given access to the closed shop and been directed to the hot showers. It was wonderful! just what two weary cyclists needed - and their poor bedraggled dog!

I came to stay at your farm in my parents caravan along with my Husband and our 3 year old son on the 18th July 2011, I would like to say that your site is lovely. Toilets are very clean, the shop is very goods and stocks most things that you could need and the products are very reasonably priced. Both you & your wife were very friendly and the wardens sheila and unfortunatly I cannot remember her name were also very nice. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Also I give you permission to print this e-mail off to put with your petition, because if you had the windmills put near your site it would spoil a very beautiful location and ruin a good caravan site.

This was our first time camping for many years and we couldn't have picked a better site. At this time (before the school summer hols) it was very quiet and we were impressed by the simple but entirely adequate & clean facilities and the peace and quiet (though the birds at 3.15am don't appear to know the site rules about noise!)

How refreshing to find a site without an "entertainment" complex and intrusive commercial activities. Just relaxing and peaceful.

What a superb quiet, peaceful, little site Saxdale House is. Jonathan and Karen are two lovely, genuine people who made my wife and I feel very welcome. This was my good lady's first "adventure under canvas", she loved the whole experience, and insists we return to the Saxdale House site A.S.A.P, coming from her that is the highest praise indeed. I WILL recommend this site to ALL my friends.

We have stayed here a few times over the last couple of years and have seen the efforts Jonathan and staff have put in to make it what it is today. I can only echo what everyone else has said, keep up the good work and will see you some time in the near future. Ken Griffin, Rochdale.

 

One of the best campsites we've ever been to. Quiet, friendly - made to feel very welcome after a long, hot drive up from Dover - facilities are excellent. Unfortunately it was a very short visit, but hoping to return for a longer one next year.

We first went to Saxdale two years ago for aweek. We enjoyed it so much we spent a month there last year and we are going back for a month this year. Everyone so friendly, Jonathan and Karen perfect owners and Sheila and Di perfect wardens. Looking forward to this years stay. Keep up the good work. Highly recommended.

We have had a lovely stay at Saxdale House Farm, what a little gem we have found. We have sent a report to the Club Magazine stating what a lovely site and we highly recommend it. We have just returned from our stay at Saxdale House and would like to say what a pleasant and friendly site it is.  We had a wonderful weekend and the Warden and other staff were extremely helpful and welcoming.  Whilst we were with you I asked if there was any availability for Sat or Sun 24/25th July until Wed 28th and unfortunately you are fully booked, however, if you get a cancellation and a pitch becomes available could you please bear us in mind.  We had booked one of the more commercial sites but after staying with you we don't think it wil compare.  Thank you again for a lovely stay.

Very welcome first visit; sure it won't be our last. Stayed here with friends -we all had fun ...site very child-friendly, and very good value for money. Would happily recommend ;o)

We got back home today after a great weekend spent at Saxdale house farm. My 5 year old son and I stayed here in our tourer with my friend and her 2 year old daughter in their tent. We enjoyed it that much and were very impressed with the facilities, site, very friendly and helpful staff that I have booked to stay a week in summer with my family and my parents too. We cannot wait to return. It is so good when you find such a lovely site where you can relax and enjoy yourselves and only 10 minutes from the seaside for a day out. Everyone that stayed on the site were very respectful to others with regards to noise level which I was very impressed with. Thank you so much to all the staff for making our holiday so enjoyable. We shall see you again in a few weeks time.
